Visit to Shrut Satkar

My visit to Shrut Satkar was deeply moving. In an age obsessed with digital platforms, AI, and search engines, this initiative quietly rescues physical books—many of them rare Jain works—that are becoming harder to keep in smaller homes. Shrut Satkar’s work feels like a timely, visionary service for our community.

Meeting Sandeepbhai and his son Vishva was a true pleasure. Their single-minded dedication to serving the cause of Shrut—rooted in the path of Moksha through Gyan Marg—left a lasting impression. They have created a space where important literature is both rescued and valued, protecting a treasure of knowledge for future generations.

This centre isn’t just a storage place; it’s a sanctuary for deep reading and analytical growth—things no search engine can replace. I believe Shrut Satkar has the potential to grow into a major hub for rare manuscripts and out-of-print texts, providing invaluable resources for study and heritage restoration.

I sincerely hope the community rallies behind this mission so Shrut Satkar can expand, republish rare Jain works, and keep the light of our Shrut burning bright for centuries to come.

“By preserving these books today, Shrut Satkar ensures the light of Jain Shrut remains bright for generations.”
